Go Skate Day Uyo

Thanks to your generous SHAPE Skate Drive donations, we were proud to partner with Alien Regime for a second year to sponsor their Go Skate Day event in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. This was their third edition of the event, demonstrating the consistent growth and expanding impact of the Uyo skateboarding scene across the state. It was an incredible day featuring skate ramps, local vendors, and live music.
Uyo is a special place for us, as it is the birthplace of SHAPE's founder, Imoh Ekasi-Otu. We remain committed to helping nurture the growing scene here and across the state. Building on this event's success, we are hoping to organize a skate tour in the near future to showcase the amazing skate spots and rising talent coming out of this community.
