Maloof Skate Jam

We partnered with Nomad Strategies, The DC Wheels, and other local organizations to host a patch-up party and skate jam at the iconic Maloof Skatepark in NE Washington, D.C. Our goal was to resurrect the local skate scene and we were thrilled to see a great turnout of participants, vendors, and viewers.
We hyped up the best trick by giving away product for landed tricks and helped put together the prize bags for the winners. At the SHAPE booth, we spread awareness for our mission, collected donations, and raffled off a free skate deck.
We look forward to hosting more community events in less-frequented areas of the city to introduce youth to skateboarding, providing a positive and constructive outlet.
A massive thanks to John Quattrini and the other volunteers for leading the patching effort. Their dedication ensured the park remains safe and skateable. The event truly couldn’t have happened without them!
