“Gilded” by Bri Pippens (SINGLE DECK 3/3)

A celebration of Black heritage and creative power, "Gilded" is a sophisticated, high-contrast triptych released in honor of Black History Month. This set features Bri Pippens' (@Bpeppersart) signature line work in a bold gold-on-black palette, symbolizing the intrinsic value, resilience, and brilliance of our community.

The Story Behind the Art:

"Gilded" captures the raw essence of Bri’s self-taught style, what she describes as "minimalist but also expressive". The continuous linework across three decks creates a cohesive narrative of freedom and courage, echoing the fluid movement and self-exploration found in both art and skateboarding.

The design is a celebration of Black identity and the creative journey, featuring stylized figures, crowns, and musical notes that represent the "joy of the ride" and the rhythm of finding your own path.
